Our flagship education program provides comprehensive, hands-on craft brewing training to community members of all skill levels. Whether you are a complete beginner with no prior experience or someone looking to formalise and deepen your existing knowledge, our training pathways are designed to meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.
The program covers essential topics including brewing science fundamentals, ingredient selection and sourcing, recipe development, quality control and assurance, food safety compliance, and responsible service practices. All training is delivered by qualified industry professionals with real-world brewing experience, ensuring that participants gain practical, job-ready skills.
The Brewlab Brewery Incubator is a one-of-a-kind program in Tasmania designed to support aspiring and emerging brewers in turning their passion into a viable, sustainable enterprise. Our state-of-the-art facility provides access to professional-grade brewing equipment, dedicated mentorship from experienced industry professionals, and a supportive community of fellow entrepreneurs.
Participants in the incubator program receive structured business development support, including business planning guidance, marketing strategy development, financial literacy training, and connections to local supply chains and distribution networks. Our goal is to lower the barriers to entry for new brewers while fostering a culture of innovation and quality in Tasmania's craft brewing sector.

Our Community Engagement program delivers a diverse calendar of events, workshops, and gatherings designed to bring people together from all walks of life.
From family-friendly open days and trivia nights to industry networking events and cultural celebrations, our community programs create safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces where people can meet new friends, share experiences, and build the kind of meaningful relationships that strengthen the social fabric of our city. We actively partner with other local organisations, community groups, and service providers to amplify our reach and ensure that our programs benefit as many Tasmanians as possible.
Our Youth Pathways program is specifically designed to support young Tasmanians aged 16 to 25 who are seeking meaningful employment, vocational training, or career direction. Through a combination of structured mentoring, hands-on work experience placements, and targeted skills training, we help young people build the confidence, skills, and professional networks they need to succeed.
The program addresses the specific barriers that young people face in entering the workforce, including limited work experience, lack of professional networks, and gaps in essential workplace skills. Participants receive one-on-one career coaching, resume and interview preparation support, and direct introductions to local employers in the hospitality, food and beverage, and manufacturing sectors.
